Job Opportunity

Role Overview:

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem to identify emerging technologies, new business models, competitor moves, and untapped market opportunities.
  • Develop insightful research reports on long-term trends, disruptions, and potential threats to our current business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute rigorous validation processes for new opportunity hypotheses, utilizing customer research, expert interviews, competitive analysis, and prototype testing.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models and business cases to assess market size, potential return on investment (ROI), and strategic value of new opportunities.

Business Development:

  • For validated opportunities, lead the initial incubation phase, defining product-market fit, building minimum viable products (MVPs) or prototypes, and running pilot programs with early customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to accelerate the incubation process.

Ecosystem Engagement:

  • Build a network of external contacts to serve as a radar for emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy roles such as corporate strategy, venture capital, management consulting, product management, or business development within technology context.
  • Proven experience in market analysis, new venture development, or managing early-stage innovation projects.
  • Deep understanding of the IoT technology stack, competitive landscape, and key market drivers.
  • Superior analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience taking a new product or business from concept through to launch.
