Job Title: Associate Director Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate strategy into action via project plans and departmental strategies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to develop future technology roadmaps and innovation patterns.
  • Own and structure the technical architecture domain and technology life cycle process across assessment, trial, adoption, and retirement stages.
  • Mentor and groom next-level technical leadership within teams.
  • Be responsible for creating, monitoring, and improving all ISO processes within the domain.
  • Interact with sales organizations and business owners at all levels.
  • Promote continuous delivery and DevOps capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Information Security teams on cloud initiatives to enhance security posture.
  • Provide transparency through defined metrics, automation, and reporting.
  • Define architectures required for implementing large complex cross-functional projects transitioning into the cloud.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with at least 9 years of experience as a Java architect and/or Java technical lead and system development implementations.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading teams responsible for architecting and designing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple industry software development methodologies, including Agile, RUP, and Waterfall.
  • Expertise in AWS native application development.
  • Subject matter expertise with federated authentication/authorization systems - SAML, JWT, OAuth2.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile development methodologies and end-to-end software development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), API-centric architecture, Object-Oriented Analysis, and Design (OOAD) principles.
  • Expertise in creating architectural diagrams and user flows using modeling software like Visio or Lucid Chart.
