Senior Backend Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to lead our team of skilled engineers in delivering high-performance, scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct a team of senior engineers in developing and maintaining high-quality backend systems
  • Design and implement robust APIs, microservices, and system architecture using industry-leading technology stacks
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure seamless infrastructure integration
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, establish development standards, and enforce best practices across the engineering organization
  • Work collaboratively with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and drive project initiatives forward
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their technical and soft skills, promoting professional growth and development within the company
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, ensuring our systems remain cutting-edge and competitive
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in backend development, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Golang
  • Strong background in leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully guiding teams and driving technical initiatives forward
  • Expertise in Go's concurrency model and performance tuning, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
  • Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices, with experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), as well as strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
