Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Node.js Engineer with 5-8 years of professional experience in backend software development. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend applications. This role requires a hands-on expert in Node.js who can actively participate in architectural decisions, guide team members, and ensure our solutions are robust and efficient.

Key Responsibilities : Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.

- You will integrate APIs, third-party services, and other tools to enhance system functionality.

Code Quality & Standards :

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices.

- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.

Technical Leadership :

- Guide team members through architecture planning, design discussions, and code reviews.

- You will have a direct impact on the technical direction of projects, ensuring solutions are well-designed and meet all requirements.

Collaboration :

- Actively participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions.

- You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding and successful project delivery.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in backend development, continuously looking for ways to improve our systems and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience :

- 5 - 8 years of professional experience in backend software development.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Node.js with practical experience in frameworks like Express.js.

- A proven track record of leading engineering efforts and delivering multiple projects on time with high quality.

Professional Attributes :

- The ability to guide and mentor team members through architecture planning, design discussions, and code reviews.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :


- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
