Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced RTL to GDS2 flow expert with a strong background in physical design, who can lead our team in developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing high-performance designs, with a focus on improving PPA (Power, Performance, Area) metrics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement leading-edge physical design flows using advanced tools such as Synopsys FusionCompiler, Cadence Innovus, PrimeTime, StarRC, Mentor Graphics Calibre, and Apache Redhawk.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of RTL blocks into larger chip designs.
  3. Optimize design cycles through automation and scripting using languages like Perl and Tcl.
  4. Identify and implement opportunities for improving PPA metrics.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of professional experience in physical design, preferably with high-performance designs.
  • Experience in automated synthesis and timing-driven place and route of RTL blocks for high-speed datapath and control logic applications.
  • Strong knowledge of tools for logic synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and design checks for physical and electrical quality.
  • Excellent physical design and timing background, with experience in FinFET & Dual Patterning nodes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in STA, full-chip timing.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl and Tcl.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task across projects.
  • Good understanding of computer organization/architecture.
