Senior Manager, Managed Services

As a senior manager in our managed services team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the property tax teams in India. This includes ensuring alignment with organizational goals and overseeing the performance and scalability of teams to meet deadlines and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to property tax teams in India.
  • Oversee team performance and scalability to ensure consistent deadline and SLA adherence.
  • Handle hiring, workforce planning, and resource allocation to optimize team capacity.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing process improvements, including automation initiatives.
  • Serve as primary liaison with Avalara Property Tax leadership, representing the managed services function in strategic discussions.
  • Foster collaboration between teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Mentor managers and foster a high-performance, innovative team culture.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in property tax, compliance operations, with a focus on strategic oversight and resource planning.
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master s degree preferred.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and operational scalability.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and drive efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of jurisdictional requirements in property tax compliance.
