The role of a Vulnerability Management L2 Support Engineer involves driving innovation in enterprise IT and cybersecurity by partnering with top enterprises worldwide to elevate their security posture and resilience.

This requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.

Vulnerability scanning tools are used regularly to identify potential weaknesses and patch management processes are applied to mitigate these risks.

A successful candidate will have hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools, a strong understanding of patch management processes and be able to collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to coordinate remediation.

  • Regular vulnerability scans are executed and results validated for accuracy
  • Collaboration with infrastructure and application teams is key to coordinating remediation efforts
  • Tracking and reporting on remediation progress is essential, with high-risk findings escalated as needed
  • Patch management and configuration baseline enforcement are also critical responsibilities
  • Maintaining vulnerability dashboards and preparing regulatory compliance reports is another important task
  • Providing technical support and mentorship to junior teams is also a vital aspect of this role
  • Defining security hardening guidelines and vulnerability baselines is an additional responsibility

This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
