Job Title: Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to spearhead our infrastructure operations. This role demands expertise in managing and maintaining large-scale infrastructure, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.

About the Role:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions to reduce toil.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  • Design and implement DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate tasks.
  • Expertise in file transfer protocols including FTP, SFTP, and S3.
  • Awareness of end-to-end transfer architecture and security best practices.
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities for OS and DB.
  • Manage certificate lifecycles, including generation, implementation, and validation.
  • Provide on-call support for critical issues.
  • Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans.
  • Comply with audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Deep understanding of managed file transfer (MFT) tools.
  • Experience with AWS and other cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
