Software Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled software developer with experience in AS400 technology to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services.

  • Minimum 3+ years of development industry experience with exposure to complete life cycle of development at least once on CLP/RPG/RPGLE on commercial applications.
  • Extensive Knowledge of AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2), ILE which also means working knowledge of modular programming in ILE-RPG including Modules, Service Programs etc.
  • Able to execute & coordinate SIT & UAT with another vendor and Project Implementation
  • Reasonable working experience of coding new (and changing) complex CL programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Development Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience with exposure to the entire development lifecycle, specifically on CLP, RPG, or RPGLE for commercial applications.
  • AS400 Technology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AS400 technology, including RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2, as well as ILE and modular programming in ILE-RPG.
  • Situation Management: Ability to execute and coordinate SIT and UAT with other vendors, ensuring project implementation.
  • Programming Skills: Practical experience in coding new and modifying complex CL programs.

  • Communication Skills: Good English communication skills, with experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment.
