Portfolio Delivery Director

About the Role

• The Delivery Office Lead plays a pivotal role in driving consistent, integrated, and industry-standard portfolio, programme, and project controls and services across FNZ technology and business change delivery. ">

Main Responsibilities:

1. ">
2. To lead and manage the Delivery Office team to deliver agreed outcomes and provide oversight on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor portfolio health and progress against strategic goals.">
3. To oversee the standards, methods, processes, training, and knowledge management within the scope of the Delivery Office to increase the organization's capability, capacity, and consistency in project delivery, driving consistency across the FNZ project delivery process.">
4. To drive standardization and continuous improvement of global Delivery Controls and Resource Management by overseeing capacity planning and resource forecasting, reporting on resource demand and supply, and stress testing modelling.">
5. To facilitate decision-making on portfolio resourcing across projects and drive sponsorship of the resource management process to ensure it is implemented successfully across delivery teams.">
6. To oversee portfolio planning, prioritizing change initiatives based on strategic alignment, value contribution, risk, and dependencies, and develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of external and internal change initiatives.">
7. To report on KPIs, quality review portfolio reports, prioritize requirements for automated reporting to Group, and drive consistency through all Portfolio reporting.">
8. To lead facilitation of the Portfolio Management Committee, quality review governance forum inputs and outputs, drive consistency through all governance forums, and advocate attendance of Portfolio Governance meetings.">
9. To oversee portfolio risk and issue management, including supporting and overseeing the portfolio issue reporting and escalation, reviewing and challenging process owned by the Delivery Office team, and overseeing portfolio contingency planning.">
10. To ensure adherence to the Group Portfolio Assurance framework, methodologies, and standards to provide independent oversight and assurance over projects within the global portfolio, leading and developing Portfolio Assurance capability, and overseeing dependency review across projects.">
11. To oversee project management capability and capacity in supporting internal change delivery and holiday cover for client projects.">

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills.">
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging with team members and wider stakeholders.">
• A track record of fostering continuous improvement within teams and inspiring high-performing multidisciplinary teams.">
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across geographically dispersed teams and diverse disciplines.">
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve challenges effectively.">
