This role involves leading and driving digital transformation initiatives in the Custom Application Development unit, leveraging technology and data-driven solutions to enhance commercial insurance processes. The Director

  • Delivery will be responsible for governing, managing, and implementing digitalization strategies, ensuring efficiency and innovation in the insurance business value chain.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesTechnology Governance :

  • Execute monthly compliance and technology audits for ongoing projects.
  • Conduct security audits and governance reviews for in-flight projects.

Project Governance :

  • Track and report cost, risk, dependencies, and resource utilization to stakeholders.
  • Monitor effort and schedule variances for active projects.

Technology and Architecture Management :

  • Identify automation opportunities and propose market-viable solutions.
  • Provide high-level solution proposals and lead stakeholder reviews.
  • Conduct market research on emerging tools and technologies.
  • Ensure modularity and configurability of solutions.

Project Execution and Stakeholder Management :

  • Lead multiple high-impact projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct technical reviews, guide architecture decisions, and resource planning.
  • Identify risks and implement course corrections to ensure market-ready solutions.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Extensive IT project and program delivery experience, with a deep understanding of SDLC frameworks and Agile methodology.
  • Proven expertise in managing international client stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Strong pre-sales experience, including solution design, estimation, and ERP response.
  • Experience managing P&L for accounts, including budgeting, profitability, and account growth.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong ability to identify risks and drive technology innovation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and implement new technology innovations/tools.
  • Deep understanding of the insurance industry's technology landscape, with a focus on disruptive innovations.
