Job Title: Project Manager

  • The candidate will oversee state-level implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) scheme.
  • He/She will lead large-scale, centrally sponsored urban housing projects across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • The project manager will develop annual action plans and coordinate city-level, district-level, and municipal teams for effective on-ground delivery.
  • Supervising project management activities including timelines, budgeting, fund utilization, beneficiary identification, and progress tracking are essential responsibilities.
  • Preparation, analysis, and management of project-related Request for Proposals (RFPs), bidding documents, and overseeing the entire bid management process ensuring government compliance is a key requirement.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders: state, municipal, and central government officials, private developers, financial institutions, consultants, and communities is critical.
  • Coordinating the flow of funds: ensuring timely fund release from central/state resources and proper utilization through direct benefit transfer (DBT) and integrated MIS is crucial.
  • Conducting regular team meetings; ensuring the compilation, collation, and submission of robust project Management Information System (MIS) and analytics reports is necessary.
  • Implementing and maintaining IT-enabled platforms for project monitoring, geo-tagging, beneficiary databases, and real-time dashboards are vital responsibilities.
  • Addressing grievances, conducting beneficiary meets, and resolving escalation issues efficiently are essential skills required.
  • Ensuring adherence to state, central, and PMAY(U) operational guidelines is mandatory.
  • Liaising in both English and Marathi with all stakeholders for effective project communication and public outreach is necessary.
