Job Description">

The Lease Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial close, internal and external reporting, and the end-to-end lease cycle.

This position will support efforts to execute and document the lease accounting policy in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842, as well as implement appropriate governance, controls, and segregation of duties.

  • Centralize and manage the lease accounting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls and company policies.">
  • Maintain proper accounting and documentation of all lease-related activity in accordance with U.S. GAAP and in compliance with internal and external audits.">
  • Perform analysis of legal documents and determine lease classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842.">
  • Collaborate with senior staff on a regular basis to ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close processes.">

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.">
  • Chartered Accountant preferred.">
  • Minimum 3-4 years of public accounting or large multinational company accounting experience (property accounting preferred).">
  • Experience with general ledger accounting systems (Oracle Cloud preferred).">
  • Proficient understanding of U.S. GAAP-based financial accounting (ASC 842, Lease Accounting, experience preferred).">
