Job Title: Financial Accounting Specialist

As a seasoned financial accounting professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our organization's financial records.

  • Chartered accountants with 0-4 years of relevant experience in multinational corporations (MNCs) or captive operations are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Expertise in core accounting, accounting standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential.
  2. A thorough understanding of Revenue Accounting, Property Plant and Equipment (PPE), Variance Analysis, Trial Balance, and Balance Sheet commentary is necessary.
  3. Hands-on experience in journal entries, month-end activities, book close, and balance sheet reconciliations is required.
  4. Proficiency in SAP, Oracle Accounting ERPs, and balance sheet tools like Blackline, Trintech is expected.
  5. The ability to use systems, enter/validate data into relevant systems, and ensure data quality in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is crucial.
  6. Exposure to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and process improvements is beneficial.
  7. Accurate and timely responses to clients, responding to queries and requests as appropriate, are essential.
  8. Collaboration with colleagues to deliver excellent service is necessary.

Required Skills:

  • SAP/Oracle end-user experience and Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail, along with accuracy, are essential.
