Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned internal audit professional to spearhead and fortify our internal audit function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficacy of risk management, control processes, and governance across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the internal audit team.
  • Identify and assess areas of financial and operational risk.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure strict compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and assess their impact on business practices.
  • Present audit findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Develop and deliver periodic audit reports and dashboards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing audit team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure transparency and control across operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory
  • MBA in Finance or equivalent is preferred
  • 5 to 12 years of progressive experience in internal auditing within the healthcare industry
  • Proven track record in risk management, financial auditing, and governance
  • Experience managing and developing audit teams
