Equipment Technician

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of hotel equipment.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks assigned by superiors, ensuring all hotel equipment operates within safety and functionality standards. Monitor and maintain power supply, water supply, gas supply, heating, and cooling systems to prevent any potential failures or malfunctions.
  • Record Keeping: Inspect and maintain accurate records of equipment operation, shift handover logs, and other relevant data. Ensure timely updates and communication of any issues or concerns.
  • Energy Efficiency: Identify areas of energy consumption and implement strategies to optimize the hotel's energy efficiency. Regularly monitor and report on energy usage to management.
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance and support for banquet and meeting events, ensuring all hotel equipment functions optimally during these occasions.
  • Emergency Response: Test and maintain hotel generators regularly to ensure power generation and transmission in emergency situations.
  • Fire Safety Compliance: Supervise and inspect fire prevention efforts to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Address any violations or non-compliance promptly.
  • Team Development: Supervise, train, and develop technicians and apprentices in their roles, supporting their growth and development within the team.
  • Tool Management: Manage the use and allocation of work tools, ensuring proper sign-out procedures are followed.
  • Operational Support: Provide additional operational support as required by management, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.
