The Placement and Corporate Interface function is seeking a Head to lead the team. This role requires strategic thinking, strong corporate networks, and the ability to drive results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop placement strategies that align with the institute's vision and market trends.
    • Corporate Relations:
      • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH TOP-TIER COMPANIES AND STARTUPS FOR PLACEMENTS, INTERNSHIPS, AND LIVE PROJECTS.
      • Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and other corporate interactions to increase engagement.
      • Placement Operations:
        • Oversee the entire placement process, from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and students.
        • Student Readiness:
          • Work closely with faculty and training partners to groom students to meet industry expectations. This includes pre-placement training on resume building, interview prep, and group discussion practice.
          • Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.
          • Alumni Engagement
            • Leverage the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
            • Analytics & Reporting
              • Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.
              • Quantitative Targets:
                • Achieve 360 student placements for final placements and 360 student summer internships.
                • Increase the median salary of the placed batch compared to the previous year.
                • Desired Qualifications & Experience:
                  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputed institution.
                  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputed academic institution or corporate setting.
                  • Strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
                  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
                  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
                  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
