Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Data Specialist to join our team and take our financial data to the next level. The successful candidate will play an active role in our monthly group financial closing, consolidation, and reporting process.

The ideal candidate will have a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and reporting according to IFRS. They will also have extensive experience with CCH Tagetik and/or other group reporting and consolidation tools.

The Financial Data Specialist will report to the Consolidation and Reporting Manager based in Switzerland. They will work closely with the legal entities and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the financial data reported across the group.

Responsibilities
  • Perform sanity checks to ensure the quality of the financial data reported
  • Key role in the preparation and review of internal management reports and external half-year and annual reports
  • Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvements of CCH Tagetik (group reporting and consolidation tool)
  • Support legal entities and other stakeholders in accounting and reporting questions and monthly reporting queries
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Chartered Accountant or ACCA, CPA qualification with a focus on accounting and/or IT
  • 5 years of working experience in a similar function, ideally in a stock listed company
  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and reporting according to IFRS
  • Extensive experience with CCH Tagetik and/or other group reporting and consolidation tools
