Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Associate, specializing in chargeback management and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing dispute data, identifying trends and root causes of disputes, and recommending corrective actions to minimize financial losses for the bank, merchants, and cardholders.

To achieve this goal, we require an individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, experience with chargeback and dispute management processes, and knowledge of card scheme regulations and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively, and maintaining strong financial controls while ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle daily chargeback cases promptly to minimize financial exposure.
  • Investigate disputes thoroughly and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Identify trends and root causes of disputes, recommending corrective actions.
  • Analyze dispute data to identify high-risk merchants, transaction types, or patterns leading to chargebacks.
  • Collaborate with merchants to implement fraud prevention tools, transaction verification processes, and best practices to reduce disputes.
  • Share regular insights with stakeholders to improve dispute win rates and reduce loss ratios.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes for chargeback handling and dispute resolution.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Balance risk mitigation with service delivery to protect profitability while ensuring positive merchant and cardholder experience.
