Supply Chain Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Supply Chain Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations and develop valuable skills in logistics, procurement, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the reconciliation of warehouse and logistics invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Update and maintain the monthly cost tracker, providing insights into operational expenses and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Compile ageing and shelf-life reports for inventory monitoring, enabling data-driven decisions on inventory optimization.
  • Analyse and assist in preparing action plans for SLOB (Slow Moving & Obsolete) articles, driving efficiency and minimizing stock losses.
  • Compile and share the weekly fill rate report, tracking performance against targets and informing process improvements.
  • Review and track planning vs actual performance, analysing orders against ROP (Receiving On Point) and DOI (Days of Inventory) metrics.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets, with knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, and other advanced features.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Interest in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management, with desire to learn and grow within the field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicating effectively and building strong relationships.
Education:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or related field, with strong academic record and relevant coursework.
