Associate/Senior Associate - Front Office Conduct Surveillance

About the Role:

The Front Office Conduct Surveillance team is expanding to meet evolving regulations, audit recommendations, and regulatory requirements. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing, analyzing, and investigating market abuse trading activity to ensure the integrity of financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigations: Review and analyze Level 1 market abuse trading alerts according to guidelines, utilizing research tools for deeper investigations.
  • Documentation: Document and upload analysis results for record-keeping with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Alert Escalation: Ensure timely and accurate escalation of alerts to Level 2 investigators.
  • Suspicious Activities: Evaluate suspicious activities for further investigation and report daily activities.

Contributing Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality assurance (QA) standards and expected daily closure volumes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, adapting to changing procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with company procedures, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in banking/financial industry (3+ preferred).
  • Candidate Profile: Strong understanding of capital markets and market abuse types, analytical mindset with investigative skills to detect red flags.
