Job Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Gas Monitoring, Gas Leak Detection, and Life Safety Systems within our semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Configuration: Develop and configure gas detection systems for semiconductor fabs.
- Integration: Integrate gas detectors with FMCS and BMS platforms.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with life safety standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system commissioning.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and maintain gas monitoring infrastructure.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
- Vendor Interface: Interface with vendors for product selection, installation, and support.
- Commissioning & Start-up: Commissioning & start-up activities including system validation, functional testing, coordination with vendors and contractors during installation, post-installation performance verification, and documentation of commissioning protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field).
- Experience: 10 years of experience in gas monitoring life safety systems.
- Semiconductor Experience: Experience in semiconductor fab projects is mandatory.
- Gas Detector Familiarity: Familiarity with gas detector brands such as Dräger, Riken Keiki, Honeywell etc.
- Interpretation Skills: Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, control logic, and system architecture.
- Greenfield Experience: Greenfield start-up and commissioning experience in Gas monitoring system.
- Cleanroom Safety: Experience with cleanroom safety and semiconductor-grade gas systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Safety Protocols: Strong understanding of hazardous gas handling and safety protocols.
- Control Systems: Experience in SCADA and PLC-based control systems.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills.
