Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage supplier commodity panels with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Job Description:
  • Develop the regional panel under their responsibility, enforcing group and local conditions as required.
  • Create and present short, medium, and long-term action plans for their category that meet the objectives of the industry procurement performance strategy.
  • Provide market data on their category.
  • Serve as the global reference for their categories.
  • Participate in budget preparation for commodity savings performance.
  • Participate in LTP (Long-Term Plan) and budget preparation for local procurement head.
  • Monitor supplier performance using scorecards, escalations, and panel inputs/outputs.
  • Build relationships with key panel suppliers and develop C-level contacts at suppliers.
  • Propose cost optimization actions.
  • Manage negotiations and lead sourcing coordination.
  • Develop a roadmap for savings actions for the panel under their responsibility and support the lead buyers community.
  • Support the lead buyers community associated with their categories and projects.
  • Manage annual and globalization negotiations.
  • Finalize project buyer negotiations when needed.
  • Provide project buyers with structured panels for indirect categories.
  • Manage series crisis actions related to supply, quality issues, etc.
  • Ensure purchasing data conformity and validity in ERP and iValua.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business or Engineering with emphasis or experience in Procurement or equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of experience in indirect procurement.
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with engineering, procurement, top management, and other personnel.
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to perform under pressure.
  • Practical expertise in office systems like Excel and ERP tools like SAP and iValua.
  • Customer orientation with a focus on providing quality service to internal clients.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and support department.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to formalize, structure, and maintain high rigor in work.
  • Agility in changing environments.
  • Diplomacy and effective communication skills.
  • Team spirit and willingness to contribute.
  • Reliability, integrity, honesty, discretion.
  • International environment and multicultural aspects.
  • Fluency in English with written and spoken proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.
