Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Programme Coordinator - Academic Operations to join our team at Fortune Institute of International Business.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating academic programmes, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent support to students and faculty members.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills to make a meaningful contribution to our institution's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate programme schedules, including course timetables, academic calendars, and exam dates.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to ensure timely delivery of study materials, cases, and other educational resources to students.
  • Collaborate with the Controller of Exams to conduct mid-term quizzes, end-term examinations, and other assessments.
  • Bridge the gap between students and faculty to facilitate smooth assignment submissions and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with the accounts department to process payments for visiting and guest faculty members.
  • Partner with the Corporate Internship Program Coordinator and Career Management Centre (CMC) to ensure timely project submissions and VIVA presentations.
  • Manage new batch registrations, prepare pre-term schedules, and maintain accurate records of student academics and personnel data.
  • Maintain session materials, course packs, and other educational resources for each subject.
  • Provide support in conducting convocations, including grade sheet preparation and diploma distribution.
  • Visit classrooms regularly to identify areas of challenge and provide targeted support services.
  • Prepare weekly attendance reports for students and create various reports for the Programme Director and PGP Committee.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in programme coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to draft reports, emails, and meeting minutes.
  • Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internet-based applications.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
