Procurement Specialist Job Description

Our organization seeks a skilled procurement specialist to oversee the acquisition of goods and services for our operations in India.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, vendor management, and contract negotiation, with strong analytical and budgeting skills. They should also be knowledgeable in inventory management and supply chain optimization, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts effectively
  • Maintain cost-effective purchasing and inventory levels through strategic planning
  • C coordinate with other departments to fulfill their purchasing needs in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure efficient supply chain management

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Experience in event management is a plus
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
