Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as an Inventory Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and import of banking devices, as well as managing inventory control processes.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Key responsibilities include evaluating product offerings, determining pricing, finalizing vendor and cost through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and supporting user and legal functions during contract execution.
ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
  • Evaluate market products/services to meet user requirements and compare them with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Finalize vendors and costs through RFPs, considering user needs and techno-commercial evaluations.
  • Support users and legal functions in contract execution from a supply chain management perspective.
  • Oversee end-to-end activities related to warehousing and inventory control for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions regularly to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories for each product through proper planning and ordering management.
  • Review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, maintaining trackers and repositories.
  • Pursue cost savings through existing contract negotiations with partners/agencies.
  • Timely renew agreements according to contracting guidelines and handle imports shipments end-to-end.
  • Engage with users to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, inventory, and imports.
  • Ensure timely vendor PO issuance and payments, coordinating with operations.
  • Regularly coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products on a daily basis.
  • Support data analysis for monthly procurement reports and stay updated on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to provide competitive pricing and timely services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in inventory management, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, if required.
