Job Description

As a Workday Absence Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and support of absence management solutions for our clients. You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, and set up governance frameworks.
  • Conducting workshops to identify, analyze, and specify absence management requirements.
  • Drafting functional specifications and configuring the Workday Absence Management module.
  • Monitoring and following up on configuration progress to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Defining and executing testing scenarios to validate absence management solutions.
  • Supporting deployment and providing user assistance during the transition to Workday Absence.
  • Delivering training sessions to users and contributing to change management initiatives.
  • Capturing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for configurations and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Workday Absence Management projects, including implementation, support, or migration.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the Workday Absence module.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, particularly in absence management, leave policies, and compliance.
  • Experience in system configuration, testing, and user training within Workday.
  • Workday Absence Management certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse and dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
