Job Title: Senior Regulatory Compliance Lead

About the Role:

The primary function of this role is to ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including provisions under the SEBI Act and AIF Regulations. This involves developing efficient controls for reconciliations, risk management, and compliance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective regulatory compliance strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, accounting, and compliance teams to address regulatory reporting and compliance needs in a timely manner.
  • Manage investor queries related to compliance matters on a regular basis.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational risk exposure.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of partnerships with incubators, accelerators, angel networks, micro venture capital firms, and other ecosystem players.
  • Represent senior management and foster an organizational culture that emphasizes values such as integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Alternate Investment Fund regulations.
  • Possession of a CS or CA or MBA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, analytical skills, and numerical acumen are crucial.
  • Strong organizational skills and a strict attention to detail are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a must.
