Compliance Manager Position Overview

The organization is seeking an accomplished Compliance Manager to lead the company-wide compliance program. This key leadership role involves ensuring all IT activities, processes, and procedures adhere to defined requirements, policies, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive compliance program, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
  • Implement a risk assessment framework and program that aligns with regulatory demands, guaranteeing documented and sustainable compliance.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of commonly used governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, as well as proficiency in developing and operationalizing metrics and reporting activities.
  • Serve as an advisor to process owners, providing expert guidance and influencing decisions regarding governance and compliance.
  • Coordinate and track all information technology related audits, including scope of audits, parties involved, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Work with customers, external auditors, and outside consultants on required IT assessments and audits.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT or security-related field from an accredited university.
  2. Possession of at least one security certification is preferred.
  3. Experience in related industries with insight and understanding of IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  4. Thorough knowledge and comprehension of IT Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity Frameworks.
  5. Ability to develop standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards.
  6. Capacity to implement IT policies, standards, and procedures leading to substantial improvements in compliance with large-scale organizations.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience.
  9. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resolution of issues.
