Championing ethics and integrity is a top priority in this role. As an Assistant Manager - Ethics, you will play a pivotal part in leading internal investigations, managing compliance with labor laws, conducting training programs, and strengthening organizational values.

You will collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure that our policies uphold trust and respect, aligning with regulatory standards and internal values.

This position requires a strong understanding of labor laws, as well as excellent communication and policy management skills. Discretion and attention to detail are also crucial.

We operate within a company that leads in family holidays, with resorts across India and Europe—and a goal of reaching 10,000 rooms by a certain time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Internal Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into ethical violations, misconduct, or breaches of company policy.
  • Manage Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, including case handling and committee coordination.
  • Develop Training Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to foster a culture of integrity across departments.
  • Review and Update Policies: Regularly review and update policies related to ethics, compliance, and workplace conduct.
  • Collaborate with HR and Legal Teams: Work closely with HR and legal teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal values.
  • Maintain Confidential Reporting Systems: Ensure the protection of confidential reporting systems and safeguard against retaliation.
Strategic Functions:
  • Shape Organizational Culture: Embed ethical principles into decision-making and leadership practices, shaping our organizational culture.
  • Monitor Compliance Trends: Stay up-to-date on emerging compliance trends and proactively address potential risks.
  • Advise Senior Leadership: Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on complex ethical dilemmas and policy implications.
  • Support ESG Initiatives: Contribute to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives through ethical oversight.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong Understanding of Corporate Governance: Possess a deep understanding of labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
  • High Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
