Job Title: Compliance Specialist

  • Job Summary:
  • A senior-level Compliance Specialist is sought to manage direct and indirect taxation, oversee labour laws compliance, and provide tax planning and advisory services.
  1. Manage Direct & Indirect Taxation (GST, Income Tax)
  2. Oversight of Labour Laws compliance, Return Filings, MCA filings, resolutions, Assessments etc.
  3. Ensure timely statutory compliance and support audits, replies to notices and attend hearings
  4. Provide tax planning, advisory, and risk management support
  5. Cooperate with commercial tax departments and consultants/auditors for tax audit, statutory audit and other reviews
  6. Provide Tax related advisory on business transactions, vendor/customer contracts, and new business models
  7. Prepare and review monthly and annual tax provisions and tax disclosures in financial statements

Responsibilities Overview: This position involves ensuring the company meets all its legal and regulatory obligations regarding taxation and labour laws. Key skills include knowledge of GST and income tax, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to think strategically about tax planning and risk management.

  • Timely completion of tax returns and filings
  • Effective management of labour laws compliance
  • Provision of accurate and informative tax advice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CA, CMA) highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation and labour laws compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
