Compliance Manager - Food Regulations

Our organization seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee food regulations across various markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of domestic and export food labelling regulations across multiple markets (EU, US, UK, GCC, Canada, APAC, SE Asia, Latin America).
  • Monitor, analyse and interpret global regulatory updates, providing actionable implications for food businesses.
  • Deliver detailed understanding of similarities and dissimilarities between national and international food laws regarding additives, ingredients, nutrition information, metrology nuances, front of pack labelling, advertising claims.
  • Support digitisation of regulatory frameworks into our SaaS platform.
  • Provide expert guidance on nutraceuticals, health supplements, and functional foods.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and client teams to strengthen digital regulatory solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in food science, nutrition, or regulatory affairs, focusing on international food export regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of labelling standards, claims regulations, and compliance requirements in key global markets.
  • Proven ability to track and analyse regulatory changes, advisories, and amendments.
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals and health supplement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with industry, clients, and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support digitisation of regulatory processes.
  • Industry understanding of trade policies, export compliance challenges, and regulatory impact on food businesses.
