Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7 to 9 years of experience in accounting and tax management to fill the role of Senior Tax Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of accounting processes and demonstrate the ability to identify and address tax-related issues. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation effectively.
  • Represent the organization before tax authorities and manage various audit issues efficiently.
  • Handle advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and ensure complete tax compliance, particularly for DT and IDT with a focus on GST.
  • Perform GST ITC reconciliation and reversal of non-eligible ITC accurately.
  • Collaborate with tax counsel for advisory and opinion.
  • Prepare facts and cases for professional opinions.
  • Provide assistance to both internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial matters from a tax perspective.

Key qualifications include:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting processes and tax regulations is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Ability to maintain and develop client relationships is essential.
  • Experience in managing tax compliance, assessments, and litigation is desirable.
