Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team and strengthen our backend capabilities in India. The ideal candidate will have experience with developing scalable systems that power cloud-based products.

The role involves designing and building GraphQL APIs using NestJS, as well as developing secure, performant backend services handling large-scale data.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver full-stack features.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and hands-on experience with Docker.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building microservices and background workers
  • Integrating with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB
  • Maintaining code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
  • Participating in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and containerization using Docker
  • Proficiency with Postgres and DynamoDB
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
