Job Title: Intercompany Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intercompany Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day activities of our intercompany accounting team. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of intercompany accounting processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle end-to-end IC process and manage a team of 3-4 members, overseeing their daily operations and resolving queries/problems.
  • Understand the IC accounting process at Medline and learn the IC balances elimination logics set in Oracle FCCS.
  • Review month-end activities performed by the IC team, including handling billing for IC transactions of US entities.
  • Review global IC BS and P&L variances and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances.
  • Post top-side entries in Oracle FCCS for high-value variances that remain open at ME.
  • Review BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail, ensuring all necessary backups are available and well-documented.
  • Timely and effectively follow up with global controllers on any pending data or open queries.
  • Handle queries from audit and tax teams from time to time.
  • Provide solutions to multiple stakeholders on ad-hoc and regular queries.
  • Establish effective communication between the team and stakeholders.
  • Process improvisation - standardize IC processes and assign end-to-end activities to team members to enhance their business knowledge.
  • Identify potential solutions to automate manual activities via transformation projects.
  • Strategize plans to achieve team goals in a timely manner within stipulated time frames.
  • IC process documentation and cross-training - improve standard operating procedures with detailed steps and create backup layers for business continuity planning.
  • Team management - monitor team performance, report on metrics, document, and provide coaching.
  • Manage schedules and delegate tasks to team members effectively.
  • Provide guidance to team members on active projects.
