About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Member of Technical Staff to join our Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) team at athenahealth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud-based platform supporting Machine Learning Algorithms.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software components and services in adherence with RPR policies on Security, performance, longevity, and Integration testing.
  • Estimate the size of development tasks in story points with the goal of 80% accuracy and challenge others during estimation.
  • Understand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practices.
  • Write, debug, and deploy code to production, delivering timely fixes and adhering to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint.
  • Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality standards.
  • Master the domain knowledge for the area of assignment and take ownership of what the team builds after the release.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies to improve team performance and volunteer for work in the backlog, committing to quality delivery.
  • Participate and contribute to scrum meetings, including daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts, and retrospectives.
  • Drive self-organization and help determine how the team functions in collaboration with peers.
