About the Role

Senior Member Technical Staff – Java Backend

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at Aryaka. As a Senior Member Technical Staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend infrastructure using modern data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality backend infrastructure using modern data pipelines.
  • Scale distributed applications, write code, and deliver with speediness and quality.
  • Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Interact with internal customers, PMs to define the product and technologies.
  • Produce high-quality software that is unit-tested, code-reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-org teams across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • 10-15 years of experience as a Backend developer.
  • Excellent knowledge in Java or Python or Go.
  • Excellent knowledge in Spring boot and Micro services architecture.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSql, mySQL.
  • Understanding of functional programming and CI/CD pipeline.
  • Working experience in microservices, containers, MessageQueues, Flink or similar.
  • Experience in building REST-based API.
  • Knowledge in version control systems (SVN, GIT).
  • Working experience of applying principles of computer science, Data structures, operating systems concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of network protocols.
  • Knowledge in SASE space.
  • Experience of event streaming platforms like Kafka.
  • Experience using CI/CD pipeline using Gitlab/Jenkins.
  • Time-series DB like clickHouse, Druid etc.
  • Circuit breaker frameworks like Hystrix.
  • Knowledge in Docker.
