Job Title: Technical Backend Specialist

Overview of the Position

Our organization is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for designing and developing scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
  • Optimize and manage databases, focusing on performance, schema design, and query tuning
  • Work with AWS SQS to build asynchronous, event-driven workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features, from gathering requirements and design to deployment and monitoring
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design
  • Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
  • Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and database optimization
  • Hands-on experience with AWS SQS or other messaging queues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
