We are a leading company that offers non-custodial multi-chain wallets with over 1 million installs across our extension, mobile and web products. Our products include MetaMask Snap for Cosmos, Compass Wallet for Sei, and Elements SDK.

About the Project

We are building a new initiative focused on APAC markets to leverage clear product-market fit in payments and cross-border use cases. Early experiments and customer conversations have shown strong market pull, and we are setting up the right team to scale.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for owning engineering for the entire stablecoin initiative — spanning both application and infrastructure layers. You'll lead a small team while staying hands-on building backend systems that scale securely and reliably. A key part of the role will be designing and maintaining integrations with on/off-ramp providers across geographies, many of which lack mature APIs or documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend development of web and mobile applications
  • Design and scale backend systems powering payments and settlements
  • Build solid, reliable infra on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets
  • Lead technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scaling
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness in architecture

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and API design
  • Fintech or payments background highly preferred
  • Experience building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • Track record of leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
  • Startup DNA: thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, ships fast
