Job Overview

As a Senior Statutory Audit Professional, you will be responsible for leading and managing statutory audit engagements for clients across various sectors. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of statutory audits for clients.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to ensure effective risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, audit working papers, and supporting documentation to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients' management teams to provide guidance and support throughout the audit process.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting, auditing, and regulatory frameworks to maintain expertise and adapt to evolving requirements.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit, preferably with listed/unlisted companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, Companies Act, and audit methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple assignments independently.
