Tax Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional with expertise in statutory compliances, transfer pricing, and tax audits to join our organization.

The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of income tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and international taxation, along with hands-on experience in handling audits, compliance, and representations before tax authorities.

This role involves preparing and reviewing tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, income tax returns, and statutory forms based on applicable provisions. The successful candidate will conduct legal research, prepare appeals, submissions, and documentation for cases before assessing officers, CIT(A), DRP, and ITAT.

The role also requires assisting seniors in representing cases before tax authorities, providing consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications for domestic and international transactions, and advising on employee tax structures and incentives to ensure tax-efficient compensation planning.

The selected candidate will work closely with overseas consultants to finalize tax returns as per local laws and analyze cross-border tax implications. They must ensure compliance with all statutory regulations while providing value-added tax advisory services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in taxation, compliance, and audit.
  • Proficient in Income Tax Law, computation, tax audits, and transfer pricing.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAP.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and drafting abilities.
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA dropout with relevant experience.
