Job Title: Senior Architect

Role Overview:

The role requires a seasoned professional to lead projects from conception to completion, converting design vision into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Concept Development: Lead concept design, develop schematic layouts, and present designs effectively. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and local building codes.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and site execution to meet quality standards. Prepare and oversee detailed drawings and tender documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior architects, interns, and drafting staff. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Client & Stakeholder Interface: Engage with clients, present proposals, and handle approvals. Collaborate with statutory authorities for compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in Indian building codes and bye-laws, NBC 2016, ECBC, and fire safety regulations.
  • Construction detailing, materials integration, and services coordination.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines.

Software Proficiency:

  • AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp for design and drafting.
  • Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray, Twinmotion for visualization and rendering.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for graphics and presentations.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam / Acrobat for project coordination and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the relevant authorities is mandatory.
  • A comprehensive portfolio showcasing built and unbuilt work across residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
