Job Title:

Oracle EPM-PBCS Solution Architect

This role requires a seasoned professional to lead the implementation and rollout of Oracle EPM-PBCS solutions. If you have expertise in designing and implementing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, we encourage you to apply.



  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for Oracle EPM-PBCS implementations.
  2. Conduct gap analysis to understand current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  3. Design and configure Oracle EPM-PBCS solutions to meet business needs.
  4. Develop and manage calculation scripts, business rules, data forms, and dashboards within Oracle EPM-PBCS.
  5. Set up metadata structures such as dimensions, hierarchies, and members in Oracle EPM-PBCS.
  6. Integrate Oracle EPM-PBCS with ERP systems, including data migration, interfaces, and APIs.
  7. Design and develop custom reports, forms, and processes within Oracle EPM-PBCS.
  8. Perform technical troubleshooting and optimization of Oracle EPM-PBCS.
  9. Develop and execute test cases for system validation (UAT, SIT).
  10. Manage deployment activities, including go-live planning and post-go-live support.
  11. Conduct training for end users and prepare documentation for functional and technical teams.
  12. Provide ongoing support for Oracle EPM-PBCS post-implementation.
  13. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  14. Maintain and update technical documentation.
  15. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
  16. Provide regular status updates and progress reports to project managers and business leads.
  17. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions with end users and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Functional Expertise:
  1. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  2. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Oracle EPM-PBCS solutions.
  3. Experience with Oracle EPM modules like Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), EDMCS is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  1. Proficiency in EPBCS components: Business Rules, Calculation Manager, Data Management, Smart View, EPM Automate.
  2. Experience in building forms, reports, and dashboards.
  3. Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, Essbase, and Hyperion Planning.
  4. Experience with data integration techniques and API management.
  • Soft Skills:
  1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  2. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  4. Project management experience is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Oracle EPM Cloud certification (EPBCS) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM implementation and support.
