Job Title: Database Architect - Freelance

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in database architecture, implementation, and maintenance is required.

  • This is a remote position allowing flexibility in work arrangements.

Shift Timing:

  • IST (Indian Standard Time) with overlap in EST (Eastern Standard Time)

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled database architect to join our team on a freelance basis. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to support business operations.

**Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in Postgres SQL, including advanced query writing, CTEs, window functions, indexing, and optimization.
  • Data modeling skills, including star schema, facts, and dimensions.
  • Familiarity with semi-structured data handling, particularly JSON and JSONB in Postgres.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools, such as Airbyte.
  • Proficiency in preparing data for dashboards using Tableau.
  • Understanding of data validation, quality assurance checks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
