**Responsibilities**:

- Designing database models and database infrastructure for highly scalable / reliable SaaS.
- Performance/response of the database need to be taken care.
- Database backup execution.
- Experience in Writing, Review and Analysis of stored procedures, triggers, cursor and complex queries.

**Requirement**:

- Experience with relational databases like MySQL, Postgres etc.
- Knowledge about Big data technologies like Hadoop, MongoDB etc will be considered as an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge in back up, replication clustering techniques.
- Database schema design skill.
- SQL Code reviews and walkthrough
- Ensure data integrity and Security
- Have experience of load testing of the database by populating records and executing expensive queries from some load generator tools.
- Prepare proper ER diagrams of the database and understand the domain, and suggest the table design for new modules maintaining the DB standards.
- Must be an excellent problem solver, creative thinker & self motivated.
- Must have worked on products with 10 to 100 million user base.
