Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing operational risk practices, policies, frameworks, governance, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support the first line of defense/business unit (1LOD) in identifying, assessing, and reporting inherent and residual risks.
  • Establish controls, test design & effectiveness, and provide independent opinions for improvements.
  • Train 1LOD to utilize ORM tools & techniques for risk identification and assessment.
  • Manage Operational Risk Incident & Loss Event Data collection and reporting process.
  • Prepare operational risk dashboards and reports for senior leadership, Board Risk Committee, and regulators.
  • Liaise with IT and Data Management team to extract data for analytics and trend analysis.
  • Conduct RCSA, KRI tracking, and control effectiveness reviews.
  • Perform Incident & loss event data management and root-cause analysis.
  • Gain broad understanding of other risk areas and identify risk/control gaps.
  • Recommend changes to enhance risk mitigation and process effectiveness.
  • Support development and testing of BCP and Crisis Management frameworks.
  • Partner with Product, Process, and Technology teams to assess operational risk in new initiatives.
  • Support implementation of regulatory guidelines released from time to time.
