Job Title: Senior IT Capacity Analyst 

The role of Senior IT Capacity Analyst is a critical position in the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that there is adequate IT capacity management frameworks and processes in place.

This includes planning, forecasting, and analysing current and future business needs to meet specified service levels. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

a. Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of IT demand, taking into account seasonal fluctuations, new product releases, and other factors that may impact capacity.

b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through effective capacity utilisation.

c. Design and implement best practices for capacity planning, performance monitoring, and reporting to ensure data-driven decision making.

d. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

a. 7-10 years' experience in IT infrastructure domain, preferably in a complex corporate environment.

b. Strong understanding of IT systems, including advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new software packages.

c. Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with IT capacity, performance, and availability practices, such as ITIL framework.
