Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to fill the position of Commodity Trader. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in commodity trading with a strong understanding of financial instruments and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze global commodity markets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Trading Activities: Execute trades within assigned commodities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize trading portfolios to ensure profitability and alignment with market strategies.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other market participants to drive business growth.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure stable returns through hedging instruments.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on market activity, trading performance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Finance is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commodity trading.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience in metals trading.
  • Strong understanding of global commodity markets, including market drivers and trading strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in trading software and platforms.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and tools.
