To effectively oversee and manage the Finance Department, ensuring timely and accurate cash and statutory compliance is paramount. Monitoring strategic amendments from time to time will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage the finance function, establishing internal controls and ensuring the appropriate use and movement of funds. This includes maintaining a strict watch on financial transactions and adhering to set protocols.
  • Statutory Reporting: Ensure all reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner, meeting the unit's requirements and protocols.
  • Performance Monitoring: Provide monthly reports to stakeholders, detailing the unit's performance against annual budget and other significant matters that require attention.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and minimize risks in a proactive manner, regularly reviewing and addressing potential issues with Corporate/Board as necessary.
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage queries related to internal and external audit activities, working closely with Group compliance.
  • Taxation Policies: Ensure accurate taxation policies are adopted, including corporate, VAT, and tax planning.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors, contributing to commercial areas and negotiations.
  • Finance Leadership: Lead and motivate the finance function to achieve agreed targets for company performance.
  • Interface and Integration: Ensure effective interface, integration, and collaboration of resources in finance and related business areas.
  • External Representation: Represent the Company externally, ensuring its reputation and capability are perceived positively.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Candidate should have a CA/CMA certification with more than 12 years of experience.
  • The candidate should be from a Hospital/Healthcare domain.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi languages is required.
  • Excellent communication, observational, and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Teamwork, people, and initiative-taking abilities are also required.
  • The candidate should be able to handle emotionally charged and difficult situations.
  • Resilience and empathy are necessary qualities for this role.
