VMware Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Solutions Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex VMware solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience working with the VMware software stack. You will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of VMware technologies into our infrastructure.

About the Role
  • Design and Implement VMware Solutions: Lead the design, implementation, and testing of complex VMware solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage Project Scope and Timeline: Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of VMware solutions.

RequirementsEducation and Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of applicable work experience, with at least 5 years focused on VMware software stack expertise.

Skills and Qualifications

VMware Software Stack: Hands-on experience with developing complex solutions using VMware software stack.

Software Systems Design Tools and Languages: Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to evaluate forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile Development Practices: Experience with Agile development practices, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.

SmartNIC Technology: Experience with SmartNIC technology a plus.

VMware NSX-V and NSX-T: Experience with VMware NSX-V and NSX-T a plus.

CICD Pipeline: Experience with build/release in a CICD pipeline a plus.

SaaS-Based Software: Experience with delivering SaaS-based software a plus.
